About Casino Night

ACRC's 3rd Annual Casino Night will be held at The Bob Bullock Museum in the heart of central Austin.  The evening offers a full "Vegas" experience for our guests, including playing chips for various casino games, live local music and an abundant silent auction, as well as exciting raffles and choice continental catering.

Our sponsors have the opportunity to support local and global causes while also advertising to an audience of hundreds of local business owners, young professionals and community leaders.  The ACRC Casino Night has proven to be an anticipated event that facilitates networking, philanthropy and a great time!

About the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club

phoca_thumb_l_schmittphoto-042

The Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club (ACRC) was founded in 2007 on the principals of fellowship, service and innovative networking to engage motivated young professional in the ideals of Rotary International. ACRC embraces a hands-on approach to address challenging and worthwhile community needs both locally and internationally and operates on a solid structure of commitment to volunteerism.

ACRC is a unique group of approximately 50 young professionals from a variety of industries who meet weekly to learn from guest speakers and build friendships with community-minded peers. Our focus attracts individuals of generations X and Y, and we are considered a "young" club within Rotary. The ACRC has more than doubled in size since our founding and continues to initiate new members each month.  Our members demonstrate their commitment to Austin by serving as directors and officers not only in Rotary, but in other civic and professional organizations across the city. the U.S. and abroad.

n76904447_30782705_7830Adhering to Rotary's motto of "Service above Self", the main emphasis of our growing club is to carry out community service projects to benefit both the local and international community. In the past year we have completed projects with the Helping Hand Home for Children, Book Spring early literacy program, Communities in Schools, and the Austin Parks Foundation. ACRC is also sponsoring a project to build a mobile cervical cancer screening center to be deployed in Huejutla, Mexico, as well as working with a local nonprofit organization to construct water wells in drought-stricken Kenya.

We invite you to visit our website at www.austincrc.org to learn more about our club and how we are working to improve our local and global communities.
