Who We're Helping

and how you can help

Simply purchasing tickets and joining us for a fabulous party will contribute to our causes.  You can do more by spreading the word and encouraging your friends and family to come along, as well.  Better yet, reserve a block of tickets and treat your coworkers!

The most effective and meaningful way you can contribute is by becoming a Casino Night sponsor.  By booking a sponsorship package, you are helping us make a real difference for the organizations we serve.  You get prime advertising and a great party, and we get to change more lives for the better!

You can also visit our club any Thursday at 5:30pm (check the website for location), and keep up with our future events and opportunities by joining us on Facebook here: ACRC Fan Page and follow us on Twitter here: acrc

Rotarians are professional business people who believe in the motto "Service Above Self". Supporting ACRC in turn supports both the Austin and global communities.

More Facts about CIS

ACRC first engaged with CIS in 2008.  A portion of proceeds from that year's Casino Night party funded a much-needed remodel of the CIS office at Garza High School.  ACRC contributed over 400 volunteer hours to the project.  CIS students also helped with the project, and high school senior painted a new mural in the group counseling room.  The new space provides a healthier and more inviting environment for the teens of Garza.  Subsequently, ACRC was nominated for CIS Community Group of the Year in 2009.

Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Foundation

The ACRC Foundation was established in 2007.  ACRCF is a 501(c)(3) corporation.  Funds benefit the Rotary International Foundation and ACRC charitable projects.

ACRC works with a variety of organizations, and the Foundation board of directors selects funding recipients based on the financial need and benefit of those projects.  Partners have included (click on each link to learn about the projects):

ACRC members volunteer their time for each and every project to which we commit.  We work on a variety of projects that aid and assist underprivileged children, environmental challenges, homeless individuals, abandoned animals, and international basic needs.  We are nearly 50 members strong and always eager to introduce our club and purpose to guests and prospective members.
