District Conference Information

Attached is the program for the District Conference @ the Hyatt Lost Pines on May 29-31, 2009.  Please distribute it to any and all that are interested or that are going.

The attire for the events is as follows:

Friday night is business attire, although we think some will come semi formal

Saturday morning is business casual

Saturday evening is western and cool since it will be outside

Sunday is business casual.

District 5870 at the Dell Diamond

On June 11, 2009 we will be having a Rotary District 5870 night at the Dell diamond.  Please see the attached flyers to register. Registration deadline is June 1st.  What a great time it will be to spend with other club members, friends and our families.  The Killeen clubs will be buying extra tickets to be distributed to the service men and women of Ft. Hood.

Please put June 11th on your calendar and make your reservation today.

District Assembly April 18

Most of you know about District Assembly April 18th in Killeen.   We'll try to get there around 8:00AM and be back in town by 4:30 or 5:00.  For more info, please see http://www.rotary5870.com/DistrictAssembly.cfm.   If you are able to make it and have not been before, it's a very useful program for the club leadership.  There are sessions for each of the VPs (Administration, Foundation, Membership, Service, PR), Secretary, and Treasurer.   This is open to all club members, so if you are recruiting members to be on your committee and you think it may be useful for them, please invite them to attend.

Please let PE Haidar know if you plan on attending so he can get a count.  We'll coordinate some sort of carpooling for the trip.
