About the Plastic Reduction Project

We aim to reduce plastic production, consumption, and waste as much as possible by working with brand owners, schools and consumers towards better plastic-related choices. 
Our emphasis is on single-use foodware as an often unnecessary and controllable — yet pervasive — source of waste. Shifting to reuse is the primary goal while boosting composting and recycling where possible. 
We also intend to be a platform to help people be more effective and more impactful in their own community sustainability efforts.  If you have time and energy, but aren’t quite sure where to start, or if you are put off by having to build organizational infrastructure from scratch, feel free to reach out.
