🧹🛝Service Project – Service Texas Day 2026 – Easter Egg Hunt & Park Maintenance 🛝🧹

What is Service Texas Day?
Our Rotary District 5870, representing 60 clubs across 23 counties in Central Texas and over 2,000 dedicated Rotarians, is thrilled to announce Service Texas Day — a day where we come together to do The Good We Do for our friends and neighbors. Imagine the impact we can make when Rotarians and community members unite for a single day of service!
Our Service Project
The Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club will join its forces with the Round Rock Sunrise Rotary Club and the Austin University Area Rotary Club at Play for All Abilities Park, in Round Rock.
We will kick off with the Adaptive and Inclusive Egg Hunt. Participation in this event is optional, but serves as reminder of why we show up for our communities: Adaptive and Inclusive Egg Hunt – City of Round Rock
– 8:30am – 9:00am: For those that wish to help place eggs for the egg hunt.
– 9:00am – 10:00am: Rotary Fellowship in Pavilion – Coffee and Donuts for volunteers outlining the work.
– 10:00am – Event begins, observe, join in to encourage Hunters.
Typically the event wraps up within 30 minutes. Then we will start our broader service project: Park Maintenance.
– 10:30am – 1:00pm: Maintenance Work Day in Treehouse, Monkey Ranch, Adventure Hill areas.
For those that will participate in the egg hunt with families, we do encourage individuals complete the Youth Protection training in the Learning Center; although this is not a requirement for this event.
Ideally, we would like volunteers for the entire period; however, the principal event from 10:30am is key. The more volunteers we have the quicker we can complete the work.
